Effect of reproduction in ewe Iambs on wool production

The effect of pregnancy and lactation on wool production was studied in 36 ewe Iambs, of which 18 were pregnant and later in lactation. The effect was measured throught; staple lenght, fiber diameter and fleece weight. No significant differences in ihese variables were observed (P > 0.05). Also, no interaction was detected between physiological status and season, for fiber diameter.
