ROOTING OF GRAPE CUTTINGS. II. FLUCTUATION OF ROOTING CÓFACTORS AND INHIBITORS OF TWO VITIS SPECIES

Rootingcofactors and inhibitors incuttings of Sultanina and Dogridge grape cúltivars were estimated using the mungbean bioassay at 5 sampling times. Sultanina showed 3 promotion patterns located at Rf 0.6-0.73; 0.86-0.93 and 1 in everycutting-sampling-time. Dogridge, however, did not show promotion patterns during the last two coIlecting times. Inhibitors were found in cutting extracts of the two cultivars at the Rf 0.13-0.27; 0.33-0.47 and 0;53-0.8. Leaves of iboth cultivars presented the same promoters and inhibitors as shoots.
