Tristeza virus founel in several Sampson tangelo in one property in the Peumo citrus area. These trees were imported to Chile in 1942 from USA. Three Genova, two Rough lemon and two Bearss lime trees in one property in Isla de Maipo were found to be infected with tristeza virus. Tristeza virus was not retrieves from any locallygrown commercial sweet orange trees or from any other kind of citrus in Chile. |
