An experiment was carried during fall and winter, using three different areas of confinement with pigs of 38 to 100 kilograms average body weight.
The influence of these areas of confinement on daily gain, feed conversion, feed consumption and carcass quality was studied. No significant difference for daily gain and carcass quality was found. Feed conversion and consumption was not statistically significant for the different treatments.
Average temperature and relative humidity during this period was 10,32°C and 80,46% respectively.
