The author describes the first two species of the order Strepsiptera from Chile. One of this species belongs to the family Xenidae and has been found to parasite a specie of Polistes. The other one has been found to attack an undetermined species of Cicadellidae (Homoptera Auchenorrhyncha). Finally he shortly summarizes the most important characteristics of this order.
