Trials of palatability by sheep on native grasses, in comparison with Phalaris tuberosa var. stenoptera and on shrubby native species of Atriplezex are reported. Hordeum chilense, Briza sp., Briza stricta and Poa holciformis proved to be in teresting. The three native species of Atriplex (A. coquimbana, A. atacamensis, and A. deserticola) were more accepted than the control. |
