Seeds samples were colected and selections in dry peas through the country, were made. These material was studied by observations and variety trials in different years and places were made. It is concluded that the best strains are 26 Botánica, 23 Chanchera, 24 Grano de Oro and 29 Naranja. The absence of defects in the dry pea produced in Chile is remarked.
