The rain shadow in the X Region and its agronomic impact

The physic parameters that originate the rain shadow area in the X Region of Chile are analysed, by the factor analysis. It was concluded that the rain shadow area extends between Rapaco and Casma, during spring, and between Rapaco and Sagllue, during summer.
