Two seeding rates and row spacing trials on peas were made at Paine, with the half pole Eminente and Perfection varieties. Another similar trial with pole Serpette Express variety was conducted at Puerto Octay. The dry pea yield increased with the quantity of seeds sown. In the trial of Puerto Octay the dty pea yield diminished as the distance between the rows increased. This relation was hot very clear. At Paine the yield diminished from a certain distance on 120 Kg. of pole and half pole seed peas per hectare and 0.9 m. apart between the rows gave the best yield according to these trials.
