The content of riboflavine in 60 samples of corn, was tested by means of microbiological method. The microorganism used was Lactobacillus casei 9595, from the American Type Culture Collection (USA). The figure obtained was 0.40 mg/100 g. The mesasurement of acidity was accomplished with a pH meter, instead of titrating with NaOH. The value obtained was compared with those given by Morrison and other authors. |
