Detection of citrus tristeza virus (CTV) in the central zone of Chile

During the season 1994/95 were observed, in the central zone of Chile, lemon plants graphted on the rootstock Citrus macrophylla which showed growth decreasing, chlorosis and stem pitting in the rootstock. Through indirect ELlSA and electron microscopy was asociated the symptoms to the citrus tristeza virus (CTV).
