The effect of four levels of phosphorus (0, 33, 66 and 98 kg/ha), and four levels of calcium (0, 0.4, 0.8 and 1.6 ton/ha), on a perennial ryegrass white clover mixture, seeded on an Andisol, Vilcun series, Entic Dystrandept, was studied at the Carillanca Experiment Station (INIA, Temuco), during four years, in a complete randomized blocks design, with four replications. P applications increased significantly (P < 0.01) dry matter production, accumulated P uptakes, foliar P values and the white clover percentages of the pasture, in addition to residual P value of the soil. CaCO3 increased (P < 0.05) Puptake, pH, exchangeable Ca and effective CIC of the Andisol Vilcun and the effect remained fours years after liming. |
